The Indian Couture Week 2016 which took place at the newly revamped bekanar’s house in Delhi is reminiscent to a fabled dynasty where kings and queens from different countries are presenting themselves in the unprecedented royal attire. With Deepika Padukone as the show stopper and Fawad Khan as the show opener, Manish Malhotra presented his ‘The Persian Story’ designs collection that lets us feel the spirit of Iranian culture and transports to the land of Persia for a while. When everything is enthralling in his creations from intricate embroideries to the grand colors, Deepika is bound to capture everyone’s eyes with her imperial lehenga that has been paired up with a drop shoulder blouse.



Kangana Ranaut relived in her renowned film name ‘Queen’ one more time as she walked for creative silhouettes master Manav Gangwani. He put before the audience some thrill and aesthetic through the collection ‘Begum-e-Jannat’ that have the fusion of heavy embroideries and mirror works.
